Custodial/Maintenance 

Learn and assist with day-to-day inspections, preventative maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment. This role may work independently or on teams with other students and staff; provides response to requested service in Student Life buildings including pulling trash, light repairs, clearance of plumbing systems, repair of doors, locks, windows, furniture, etc.; replaces bulbs, tubes, ballasts, switches and other electrical components; performs preventative maintenance on HVAC systems such as filters, cleaning coils, vents, etc.; inspects buildings and communicates findings.

Service2Facilities

Provide telephone and email customer service; coordinate communication of technology and facility service requests using phone, email, chat and radio channels in a 24-hour call center environment; dispatch service technicians appropriately; monitor and communicate facility control and alarm issues; troubleshoot basic IT and networking issues; follow standard communication, troubleshooting and documentation procedures; display a professional and courteous manner at all times; employ excellent verbal and written communication skills; share information and collaborate with other staff.

Life Safety Systems

Have you ever wanted to pull a pull station and set off the fire alarm?  Each year, the Fire Protection team is responsible for the annual inspection and testing of the fire alarm systems throughout Student Life buildings.  We are hiring student positions to join our team this summer.  Students employees play a vital role in the Life Safety of their fellow students living in the residence halls.  These positions will also assist with the repair of problems found during annual inspections and well as assist with annual maintenance.  We are looking for applicants who are responsible and reliable, who are willing to work on a ladder and who can lift up to 75 lbs.
