We understand that facility-related concerns can arise at any time. That's why our dedicated Service2Facilities staff operate around the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. When you encounter maintenance or custodial issues, our team is just a phone call away, ready to assist you promptly and effectively.

We're here to ensure the seamless operation of our campus facilities and address your needs promptly. To provide the most efficient service, it's essential to understand when to pick up the phone for urgent matters and when to utilize our convenient online webform to routine service requests.

Calling for Urgent and Time-Sensitive Requests

For time-sensitive and urgent requests, or to report an immediate facility safety concern, please call 614-292-4357 (2-HELP) and a representative will assist you immediately. Examples of these kinds of facilities concerns include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • A situation in which the health and well-being of the campus community are jeopardized.
  • Any interruptions in utility service to one or more facilities, including electrical, gas and/or water.
  • Any situation which could result in damage to physical property.
  • Request elevator service.
  • Missing or lost keys in conjunction with missing or lost identification.
  • Emergency pest control.
  • Unsecure building or room.
  • To report an immediate facility safety concern.

Utilizing the Online Webform for Routine Service Requests

For non-emergency requests, please complete the following online service request. We strive to respond to all service requests within 1-3 business days. Routine maintenance and housekeeping issues that are not time-sensitive typically involve general upkeep and preventive measures. Examples of these kinds of facilities concerns include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Trash removal.
  • Refill soap dispensers.
  • Restock paper towels.
  • Replace non-function light bulbs in common areas.
  • Dust and clean light fixtures. 
  • Regular vacuuming of carpets.
  • Sweeping and spot-cleaning hard floors.
  • Periodic polishing or waxing of hard floors.
  • Fix loose or squeaky door hinges.
  • Repair minor wall dents or scratches.
  • Address loose cabinet handles or knobs.
  • Regular lawn mowing and trimming.
  • Weeding flower beds and common outdoor areas.
