Overview: 

As faculty and staff, you can model bystander intervention for our campus community. Come hear OSU Student Wellness Coordinator, Erica Butler and SARNCO Prevention Coordinator, Richard Wright, speak about the fundamentals of bystander intervention. You will leave a stronger leader, more aware of the impact you have, and its potential to reduce interpersonal and sexual violence on campus.   

Goals/Objectives: 

By the end of this micro session, staff + faculty will: 

  • Become aware of and understand the Bystander Effect 

  • Be introduced to the D’s of bystander intervention education 

  • Start to appreciate the impact their influence will have on spreading bystander intervention 

  • Receive information and resources to delve deeper and become an active bystander
