AlcoholEDU at Ohio State
What is AlcoholEDU?
AlcoholEDU is an online alcohol course that is part of Ohio State’s community education for students. This course will measure your perceptions about alcohol use and misuse when you arrive on campus, and then again after you've been on campus for several weeks. The program's goals are to ensure that you have the information you need to make well-informed decisions about alcohol use throughout your time at Ohio State and beyond.
This course is for all new first year and transfer undergraduate students. You will need to complete Part One and Part Two.
Questions and concerns can be sent to Sl-hwtraining@osu.edu.
Why Take AlcoholEDU?
The decision to use a substance is something most college students will encounter during their first few weeks of being on campus. AlcoholEDU is a part of Ohio State's comprehensive approach of educating students to create a safe and healthy campus.
How Long Will AlcoholEDU Take?
You will complete the course in two parts, one when you start school and one after you've been on campus for several weeks.
Part One: The first part takes about 90 minutes to complete. You can complete the course in one or several sittings.
Part Two: After a 45-day waiting period, you'll complete the second part of AlcoholEDU. It takes about 5-10 minutes to complete.
